The wonderful chalky range of rolling hills stretching across the south of England from Eastbourne in East Sussex to Winchester in Hampshire are protected by their recent status as national park. But they are still vulnerable and need a critical friend to ensue they are looked after properly.
Glynn Jones is a trust member of the Friends of the Soutdown and explains to me the various roles the society carries out to enable the public can continue to enjoy these fabulous hills to their best advantage.
