Part three of this short series exploring the bombing range in the New Forest.
During the Second World War, a section of the New Forest in Hampshire was annexed, closed off from the public and used by the RAF as a bombing range. Many bombs, including Barnes Wallis’ ‘Bouncing Bombs’ were tested for accuracy there.
Dave Ford is my guide and together we explore the remaining artifacts of those targets in this four part series of walks.
