The Quest For England: Trees of Homefield Park

I still have a bad back, and today I staggered out, on my permitted exercise during the Covid19 lockdown, to my local park, Homefield Park in Worthing to see if I could identify the different tree species. I made it a project a couple of years ago to learn the British Native trees. There are many that I couldn’t recognise, buy plenty that I think I got right.

Homefield Park came about during the Victorian era, and although it has changed a bit over time, it is still a popular recreational space with people living in the surround houses.
