The Quest for England: Titchfield Village in Hampshire

Today Julia and I are in the beautiful village of Titchfield in Hampshire. We are here to explore the architecture. There is a super mix of Georgian and Elizabethan buildings along the high street, and the whole area is pretty much untouched and a delight to walk through. There are cars of course and other 21st century additions. The marvellous old timber-framed town hall that stood in front of The Bugle pub has gone, although survived in situ until 1971. It now resides in the Weald and Downland open-air museum at Singleton in West Sussex. ——————————————————————-
