The Iron Age trackway passes Hangleton Manor, where Arthur Stanley Cooke, the author of Off the Beaten Track, started his walk in Chapter 4 of his book that I am following. To understand the area better take the route to see how it has changed since publication of Arthur’s book in 1910.
