The Quest For England – A Fun Exploration of Honeysuckle Meadow and Woods

Julia and I, and little Joseph, are out for a fun outing to a wonderful wild flower meadow and nutty exploration of a local woodland in Worthing, West Sussex.

Also known as The Sanctuary the site consists of chalk grassland, scrub and semi-natural woodland on a south facing coombe and slope on the edge of High Salvington and within the South Downs National Park.

A mixture of mature scrub and semi-natural woodland with a fern rich ground layer running between old green lanes.
