Sussex Border Walk – Supplement – Heene Cemetery and Nature Reserve

In Part Three of my series, The Sussex Border Walk, ‘Treasures of Heene’, I passed Heene Cemetery, now closed, and I wondered what purpose it was used for. Today, I meet up with Sue Standing, the Chairperson of the Friends of Heene Cemetery, who takes me round and shows me some of the conservation work undertaken.

Also, David Campbell, is on hand, counting, recording and ringing birds that visit the nature reserve.
