St Peter’s Church in Newdigate, Surrey, explored.

The Lovely Julia and I are in Surrey today to explore the wonderful church there. St Peter’s is rather special because of it’s16th century oak bell tower boasting six bells. The pub of the same name is bang across the road.

The church is wonderful with some fascinating features and the churchyard enhanced with a plentiful scattering of yew trees. There is much to see and take in, but this is sadly only a whistle-stop tour of the wonders.
