I am back with Frances Sedgwick who keeps wonderful Dexter cattle at the Steyning Downland Scheme, close to the rifle range, but today is a difficult day; the final journey for three of her cows. They are to be taken to the abattoir, not an easy thing for a small scale cattle breeder to do, and very trying for Frances. However, she is extremely sympathetic to the cows and animal welfare is paramount in her mind at this time.
