Exploring the Romney Marsh – Newchurch Church

In the last of the mini series exploring Kent, I am down on the Romney Marsh with Nigel Sadler and his son, Arun. We stop at the last of the three churches we wished to have a look at, St Peter and St Paul, in Newchurch.

It is a far bigger church than the previous two with a large nave and north and south aisles as well a big chancel. The tower in the west is interesting because it sloped away from the main body of the church not long after its construction and although a repair was made it is still observable tilting.
