Exploring St Agatha’s Church in Coates near Fittleworth

Today I am at the foot of the Southdowns close to Fittleworth in West Sussex exploring the rural church at Coates with the strange dedication. My guide is Reverend Canon John Green.

This cute little two room church, although simple, is still very much in use. The dedication is unusual for St Agatha was a martyred saint. She had her breasts removed.

Join John Green and me as we take a walk around this lovely isolated church.
