Exploring Leith Hill and the Greensand Way in Surrey

Today I am with Matthew Holdsworth in search of the Greensand Way and the wonderful tower atop of Leith Hill in Surrey.

The Greensand Way is a long distance path of 108 miles (174 km) in southeast England, from Haslemere in Surrey to Hamstreet in Kent. It follows the Greensand Ridge along the Surrey Hills and Chart Hills.

Leith Hill is a wooded hill 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) to the south west of Dorking, Surrey, England. It reaches 294 metres (965 ft) above sea level, the highest point on the Greensand Ridge, and is the second highest point in south-east England.
