Today I am interviewing Eric Wilkins who grew up in the village of Laughton in East Sussex. I am keen to learn his war time memories. He tells me about the flying bombs that flew over Sussex. Also about his father who was a wheelwright.
Laughton is a village and civil parish in the Wealden District of East Sussex, England. The village is located five miles east of Lewes, at a junction on the minor road to Hailsham . It appears in the Domesday Book, and there are Roman remains nearby.
