Today I am looking at the delightful village of Tillington in West Sussex. I have two videos of this lovely place. In this one Mike Wheller is my guide. He used to be the publican at The Horse Guards, back in the day when ‘it was a real pub’, as he says. It is still a lovely place. I had a pint there with him after filming.
The village is steeped in history. June Whitfield, who recently died, is buried in the churchyard. The buildings are ancient and have many stories connected with them. Join me for a gentle stroll around.
In the next video, Gerald Gresham Cooke shall be taking up the church tower – not to missed!
