Walking On the Southdowns Way in the Mist and Rain

It’s not the best photographic weather today, but I needed to get out into the open and to clear my head. Lots of thoughts and plans circling round. I have my comedy hat and waterproofs on and have decided to go for a short stroll on the Southdowns near Steyning. I’m heading west towards Chanctonbury Ring.

There is a trig point that appears fenced off on private land, which I cannot reach, and the path I take is long and monotonous in the drizzle and grim light. But I hope you get some enjoyment out of it.
