Podcast: A Day on the Canals

Have you ever wondered what it is like to spend a day on the canals in this country? In the prelude for the filming of the next Bald Explorer outing exploring the Shrewsbury and Newport Canal I thought it would be nice to delve into the old podcasts. Back in 2005, the Vobes staff went out for a day trip on the canals, although in fact I think it was the River Wey in Surrey.

Do excuse our naivety, but I hope you will enjoy the pleasure we had taking the narrow boat on the wonderful English navigations. My children were quite young at the time, but we it was wonderful to hear their thoughts and attitudes to travelling by water instead of road.

Coming soon, a full length video, exploring the restoration work of an abandoned canal.
