Today I am up in Guildford in Surrey to meet with Chris from the Hairy Wanderers Youtube Channel (Link below). Chris has agreed to show me Lewis Carroll’s grave and the Booker Tower.

Carroll was the third child born to a family of eleven children. From a very early age he entertained himself and his family by performing magic tricks and marionette shows, and by writing poetry for his homemade newspapers. He is most famous for writing Alice in Wonderland.

Bookers Tower is a Grade II listed four-storey octagonal tower built in the 19th century, in the Gothic style. It is in Guildford, Surrey, and can be found along Beech Lane, behind the Mount Cemetery.
