Today, Nigel Sadler, his son, Arun, and myself have ventured down to the Romney Marshes to have a look at a few isolated churches there. The first on our trip is St Thomas à Becket in Fairfield. It stands alone in the marshes surrounded by drainage ditches and little wooden bridge to access it.
Nigel goes off in search of the Key and I lead the way to the exterior to explore more.
