First, no I didn’t hit him!
Today I am at Burton Park with John Mayes, local historian, to explore the history of this ancient place. Situated adjacent to the village of Duncton in West Sussex, Burton Park has played a part in the local history from before the Norman Conquest.
John and I look at the Georgian House that sadly is now just luxury apartments, and trace it’s history back to the Domesday Book.
