A Quick Reconnaissance Around The Ouse Valley Viaduct

Julia Hartley and I are scouting the landscape around the famous viaduct in the Ouse Valley at Balcombe in West Sussex. A story has emerged of a terrible deed that transpired back in the 1730s and before I recount that tale in another video, I wish to explore the countryside.

Apart from the famous edifice that strides the valley, crossing the river like a giant millipede with its tall brick built legs, the Ouse Valley Way, takes us eastwards through some stunning rolling hills that would inspire even the lowest poet.

Why not join us while we make our reconnoitre.
